George C. Wolfe is on board to direct the whole thing, while
Hillary Swank will play the lead. Sounds great, or what?
Wolfe’s upcoming drama is based on
Michelle Wildgen‘s first novel, which centers on a woman who’s suffering from a fatal illness, and an aimless young woman who enters her life as a personal caregiver.
The two confront their obstacles unsentimentally, with dark humor and unflinching candor, as their relationship is slowly stripped of pretense.
As you already guess, Swank is on board to portray that woman, while the producers are currently casting actresses for the caregiver role.
