Daniel Craig is happy to meet fans and sign autographs but draws the line at being photographed when he is trying to relieve himself.
Daniel Craig said, “People try to take pictures of me when I’m having a (expletive) and it’s not welcome and never will be”.”I have to keep hold of my sense of humor, because you can lose it very quickly and start retreating into yourself – then you can’t go anywhere unless you’re with armed guards”.
Craig has a history of griping about his fans. The star recently revealed he wears a disguise to the pub to stop people recognizing him. “I wish, sometimes, I could just go sit and spend the afternoon in the pub”, Craig said. “Well, you know, if I’m quiet and I wear a hat, a pair of sunglasses and a false beard, I could probably get away with it”.
Daniel Craig recently said he hates being branded “difficult” by the media. Daniel Craig says that he does not like being projected by the media as a moody actor because this image almost cost him James Bonds role in “Casino Royale”.
The 39-year-old star, who is reprising Bonds role in “Quantum Of Solace”, insists that he is a friendly person.
“I don’t think that’s true, it’s just lazy journalism; they want to paint me as someone difficult. I think I’m quite nice, but maybe I’m delusional. There is no point making Bond if you’re not going to sell it,” Daniel Craig said.
