Written and directed by Fogelman, the movie will revolve around Pacino's character, an aging rock star named Danny Collins, who discovers that he has an adult son after reading a never-opened letter from John Lennon.
In other words, Pacino is a rocker who decides to change his life and track down his biological son whom he's never met.
And that son, in case you forgot, is
Bobby Cannavale, while the rest of
Imagine cast looks promising as well, and includes
Annette Bening,
Christopher Plummer and
Jennifer Garner.
