Jennifer Aniston is set to star in Peter Bogdanovich‘s upcoming comedy She’s Funny That Way (previously titled Squirrels To Nuts). In case you’re not so familiar with this project, let me first inform you that the movie has quite interesting cast on board which already includes Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Cybil Shepherd, Eugene Levy, Kathryn Hahn and Brie Lawson. Bogdanovich will direct the movie from a script he co-wrote with Louise Stratten, which centers on a married Broadway director who falls for a prostitute-turned-actress and works to help her with her career.
At this moment we know that Owen Wilson is set to play that married Broadway director, while THR reports that Jennifer Aniston comes on board to play a therapist whose mother is in rehab for alcoholism.
Principal photography is set to begin this June in New York City.
