Jennifer Lopez In Overboard Remake

Jennifer Lopez is going to star in the remake of the 1987 romantic comedy Overboard. So, if you're one of those wondering if Lopez has a plan for a “big-return” on a big screen, there you go, we're sure you're pleased to hear this news! We know her new movie The Back-Up Plan is coming, but still, this is one well-known story, that could bring much more success, you must agree… The original Overboard did very well at the box office when it was released in 1987, starred Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and was directed by Garry Marshall. We're sure you all remember the story, a young, wealthy woman, during a boating trip fell off of her yacht and hit the side of her head on the boat. She woke up in the hospital with a terrible case of amnesia, and the only person who was around was the man who found her, and had saved her life by bringing her to the hospital. But the man would then convince her in her state of amnesia that she was actually his wife, and brought her home to have her help take care of his four young boys. As you can all guess, Lopez will play the leading role, the part that was originally played by Hawn, but we still don't have any idea who will be her partner. The only thing that's mentioned is that Will Smith will be producing the movie along side his business partner, James Lassiter. On the other hand, there are some negative comments about this project, since some people believe this movie deserves to stand on its own without being remade every twenty years, as well as some questions refering to the acting ability of Lopez.
