Jesse Eisenberg’s Injury Teases Intensity of ‘Now You See Me 3’

Jesse Eisenberg reveals he broke his finger during the high-octane filming of Now You See Me 3, hinting at the action-packed thrills awaiting fans when the film drops in November 2025.

The Now You See Me franchise has always dazzled audiences with its perfect blend of magic, mystery, and exhilarating heist sequences. After nearly a decade since the second installment, anticipation for Now You See Me 3 is building fast. And thanks to recent news from star Jesse Eisenberg, we now have some insight into just how intense the upcoming threequel is shaping up to be.

During a red carpet interview at the BFI London Film Festival, Eisenberg revealed that he broke his finger while filming one of the film's many action sequences in Budapest. He humorously reflected on how his mind still views him as an action hero, even if his body might disagree. His injury serves as a sign that this movie is loaded with adrenaline-fueled scenes. Eisenberg also couldn't help but gush about the spectacle of the production, calling the set pieces “truly miraculous.”

Now You See Me 3, directed by Ruben Fleischer (Eisenberg's collaborator on films like Zombieland), promises to reunite many fan-favorites. Expect the return of Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, and Mark Ruffalo, along with exciting new additions like Rosamund Pike and Justice Smith. The film is set to premiere on November 14, 2025, giving fans ample time to theorize about what magical surprises are in store.

With such an all-star cast and the high stakes of magic-filled heists, it's no surprise Eisenberg got a little too into the action. If his injury is any indication, Now You See Me 3 will surely deliver the same jaw-dropping thrills that made the first two films so iconic.
