Jessica Stroup Joins Seth MacFarlane’s Ted

Jessica Stroup Few days ago we had a little chat about the upcoming Seth MacFarlane's R-rated comedy titled Ted, and today, we're here for another update. Things are getting quite serious with this one, and we just learned that Jessica Stroup, probably best known from Beverly Hills 90210 is also set to star in it, alongside Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Giovanni Ribisi and Patrick Warburton. As you know, Ted is the story co-written by McFarlane and Alec Sulkin, that will center on a man (Mark Wahlberg) who, as young boy made a Christmas wish that his Teddy Bear (played by MacFarlane using motion-capture) would come to life and be his best friend forever. Twenty-five years later, the bear is still at his side, but has now evolved into a cursing, smoking, delinquent that is preventing the man from maturing. Ribisi is set to play Donny, “a man obsessed with the the cursing, crass, living teddy bear”, while McHale will be “Rex, the sleazy boss who is perpetually putting the moves on his employee.” That employee is Mila Kunis. Patrick Warburton will be playing Guy, a sexually confused Enterprise Rent-A-Car co-worker of Wahlberg's character. And now, the latest added Jessica Stroup is set to star as Mila Kunis' office co-worker, character described as “a woman who has slept with their boss (aka McHale).” For more details, you can check out our previous reports about Ted project, which, by the way, marks MacFarlane's feature film debut and will be produced by MacFarlane, Scott Stuber and John Jacobs. Ted is set to hit theaters on June 29th, 2012. As usual, we'll keep an eye on this one, so stay tuned!
