As you see in the title of this report, we're here to have a little chat about the upcoming big screen adaptation of Between Us, an off-Broadway play that will be directed by Dan Mirvish.
We just learned that Julia Stiles, Taye Diggs, Melissa George and David Harbour are all attached to star in this project, and we must admit that it already sounds interesting.
At this moment, thanks to Deadline, we know that the movie will tell us a story about two couples who were friends in school and whose periodic meetings conjure up rivalries and bitterness over unrealized ambitions that get waylaid by money and children.
By the way, let us also mention that the play opened originally at Manhattan Theatre Club in 2004.
As we said, Between Us is an adaptation of an off-Broadway play by Joe Hortua who will also co-write the film script together with Mirvish. They will produce this project with Hans Ritter, Barry Hennessey and Dana Altman.
Filming on Between Us is set to begin this May.
