Kate Hudson, Danny McBride and Eva Mendes Join HBO’s Movie CLEAR HISTORY

Kate Hudson Clear History – you better remember this title! Ok, this could be yet another HBO project, but trust me, with this cast on board, it already sounds amazing! So far we have Larry David, Bill Hader, Jon Hamm, Danny McBride, Phillip Baker Hall, Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Amy Ryan and JB Smoove all on board for the comedy which will be directed by Greg Mottola! Clear History will center on character named Nathan Flomm, a former marketing executive at a start-up electric car company who, after losing a fortune due to a petty argument with his boss, is publicly humiliated for walking away from his 10 percent of a company now worth billions. Ten years later, his marriage is over, his reputation is ruined, and Nathan has changed his identity and lives a simple life on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts under the new name of Rolly DaVore. Sounds pretty boring so far? Wait until you hear the rest of the story! The fun actually starts when his former boss (Hamm) shows up to renovate his summer mansion. Logically – Nathan sees that as a perfect moment for a revenge in order to drive his nemesis off the island. It's not hard to guess who will play those enemies. Larry David is on board to portray Nathan Flomm or (later) Rolly DaVore, while Hamm will play his former boss. As for the rest of the cast, we have Hader as character named Rags who is the friend and henchman of an eccentric local quarry owner (played by Hall) who agrees to help David's character settle the old debt. Then we also have Hudson as Hamm's glamorous wife, Keaton as an eccentric operator of the quarry, and McBride as his best-buddy. On the other hand, lovely Mendes will play an islander who takes an off-handed suggestion from David's character a bit too seriously, causing him no end of trouble, while Smoove will play her ex-boyfriend. At the end, let us also add Ryan, who will come on board as the ex-girlfriend of David's character who has been hiding an explicit secret since before they dated. As you see – definitely an interesting project. The whole thing comes from “Curb” writers Alec Berg, David Mandel and Jeff Schaffer who co-wrote the story together with Larry David. The team will also executive produce Clear History together with Bradley Thomas. In case this got your attention – make sure you stay tuned for more details, because we'll be back to clear the history!
