Jurassic World movies have now become a species of Summer Blockbuster, and it's soon to get a new addition of the star Mahershala Ali. The actor has been nominated twice for an Oscar award and is expected to appear in the planned untitled Jurassic World movie that is expected to be released on 2, July 2025. This new installment promises to be a semi-reboot, building on the events of Jurassic World: Dominion could start new characters, locations and dinosaurs and indeed, it will explore new themes and locations.

Here are some of the key facts: Directed by an experienced Gareth Edwards who earlier worked on the Rogue One and The Creator movies, the film will star Scarlett Johansson, Rupert Friend, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and other talented actors. It not only stars Sam Jackson but is written by writer David Koepp, who also wrote the first screening of Jurassic Park. Plot details as to what the film will be about are still unclear but movie goers will surely be in for a treat as long as Edwards directs it.

The shooting of the production is to start in this month from the 1st of July and parts of the scenes will be shot in the Thailand country. This new film, which is planned to be released in 2013 and which was rumored to be called Jurassic City, is set in a city where people live in tall buildings – this adds a completely new facet to the film. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, the film's producers, have experience with the Jurassic series, making them confident in their abilities to create this picture.

This is good news for direction because even though franchise has undergone a few changes over the years getting Mahershala Ali for the job is quite a boost. At one point in time, David Leitch had been announced as the director of the movie, but he decided to leave due to some disagreements. That being said, Universal was quick to find a replacement for him in the person of Gareth Edwards who has previously directed sci-fi monsters that are perfect for the demand of the brand.

With a highly recognizable cast and a proven team behind the scenes, as well as a capture concept that appears to be both intriguing and fresh, this new movie in the Jurassic World universe is set to be a real treat for fans of the series. If you have not experienced anything like the unseen in Jurassic City, then it is time to gear up and be ready to watch the movie from July 2, 2025.
