The 44-year-old actor, Mark Ruffalo, who starred as Bruce Banner/Hulk in summer blockbuster Avengers Assemble took to Twitter to give his take on the current prospects for Hulk.
Recent rumors suggested that Marvel was weaving The Avengers 2 towards a new stand-alone Hulk movie based on a popular Hulk comic book 2006 story ‘Planet Hulk'.
However, Ruffalo, has addressed the current round of rumors on his Twitter account:
A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers2. No plans for stand alone.

He went on to add in response to the legions of Hulk fans' questions:
I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it's not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring.

Well, most fans would love to see more Hulk, but it's not going to be before The Avengers 2, scheduled for a May 1st, 2015 release date.
Marvel's Kevin Feige who previously said that he was confident that the Hulk could carry his own movie, also hinted that Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or the films after Marvel's The Avengers 2, could include Ant-Man and Doctor Strange.
We should bear in mind that Marvel Studios are not afraid to explore all the possible angles. As Mark admits, only time will tell.
