Dexter Fletcher‘s Provenance western project is moving forward. And it looks that Fletcher has finally found his lead in Mark Strong.
It's a little bit hard for me to imagine Strong in this kind of movie, but at least he will have some good company to lead him through Arizona, because we already know that Sammy Williams is on board for the pic as well.
So, yes, this project will be set in Arizona, and at this moment we know only that it will be a full-blown western. In an interview with The Guardian, Fletcher actually revealed:
“I tried to work a lot western ideas into Wild Bill and I feel really lucky to be able to actually get to make one of my own, in real western country.”
Of course, he also mentioned that he has always loved westerns “but have never been able to be in one”. What a shame?
If I understood the interview correctly, we'll soon have a chance to watch Londoners seeking their fortune in the frontier towns of the American west.
That should be an interesting thing to watch? I have no idea, but I'll give them a try…
