Ben Affleck and
Matt Damon are reuniting again to make a movie about infamous mobster Whitey Bulger! There, I said it!
So, we have Boston guys (don't shoot, I mean –
Good Will Hunting Boston guys!) on board for the movie that will follow famed Boston mobster? Already sounds perfect, don't you think?
So, at this moment we know that Warner Bros will make the movie which will cover Bulger's youth to his incarceration on Alcatraz, through his rise to become a mob boss while secretly serving as an FBI informant for decades.

As you probably know, Bulger is a former organized crime figure from Boston. Local folklore depicted Bulger as a Robin Hood-style social bandit dedicated to protecting the neighborhood and its residents. Bulger allegedly masterminded a protection racket targeting drug kingpins and those running illegal gambling operations.
Based upon the testimony of former associates, Federal prosecutors have indicted Bulger for nineteen murders. South Boston crime boss fled in 1994 and remained a fugitive for 16 years, 12 of them on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. He was arrested in June in Santa Monica.
Affleck will direct the whole thing from a script written by
Boardwalk Empire creator and writer
Terence Winter.
Affleck will also costar and produce together with Damon, who'll play Bulger.
Casey Affleck, who also starred with them in Good Will Hunting will play a supporting role.
Affleck definitely sounds excited about this project, since he revealed: “Matt and I have been looking for something to do together for some time. We've heard about Whitey Bulger since we were kids, and we are excited by the prospect of putting it on screen.”
We're excited as well, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates on this one!
