Michael Bacall, Scott Pilgrim and 21 Jump Street scribe is now set to star in Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming Django Unchained.
In case anyone out there is actually surprised by this news, I will just remind you that Bacall previously starred as Omar in Tarantino's Death Proof as well as in Inglourious Basterds. So it's not some huge surprise.
Bacall will join the cast which includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Gerald McRaney, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell, Laura Cayouette, M.C. Gainey, Don Johnson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kerry Washington, Anthony LaPaglia, RZA, Tom Wopat, James Remar, James Russo and Todd Allen.
This definitely sounds promising and I can't wait to actually see the story of Django, a freed slave, who under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter becomes a badass bounty hunter himself.
