Here's a completely new clip from the upcoming
Lee Daniels‘
The Paperboy.
A short one, but still – you'll have a chance to watch two leading stars
Zac Efron and
Nicole Kidman in 1-minute preview entitled
Jack's daydream.
That actually means – no action this time, but, on the other hand – means a lot of Nicole Kidman (which is a good thing I guess?).
Anyway, I will remind you that The Paperboy is actually an adaptation of Pete Dexter's novel which centers on two brothers, played by Efron and
Matthew McConaughey.
McConaughey plays an investigative reporter at the Miami Times who tries to help his younger brother free a possibly-innocent man on death row, played by
John Cusack.
But things go a bit sour when Efron falls in love with a lady who Cusack's character's been writing to from inside the prison, and as you already guess – that lady is Nicole Kidman. The rest of the cast includes
David Oyelowo who plays character named Yardley Acheman.
The Paperboy will open this November in France at
Cannes where it will compete for Palme d'Or, but there's still nothing on the USA release date.
As usual, we'll keep an eye on it, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates, and let us know what you think about the new clip!
