New Poster For AFTER EARTH: We Left For A Reason?
We have a completely new poster for the upcoming sci-fi thriller After Earth which opens next summer. As you’re going to see it’s time for us to take a better look at young Jaden Smith who stars as Kitai Raige, a teenager who, together with his father Cypher (and his real-life father Will Smith) explores a planet that was evacuated by humans 1000 years earlier. 1000 years ago we left for a reason? We’ll see about that…
As we previously reported, M.Night Shyamalan directs the whole thing from a script which he co-wrote with Gary Whitta, and beside the above mentioned father-son duo, the movie also stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Zoë Kravitz, Gabriel Caste and Kristofer Hivju.
A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige and his legendary father Cypher stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash.
