Now you will see them too! When exatcly – I have no idea, the only thing I know is that Matthew Arnold‘s upcoming horror movie (or maybe the right word is psychological thriller?) Shadow People is still without an official release date, but what the hell – I think this one definitely deserves our attention! So, today I'm here to share the new poster for the whole thing, hope you'll like it. After all, there's a promise – coming soon!
In case you're not so familiar with this project, I will first inform you that the movie was originally titled The Door, and is inspired by true events concerning a radio talkshow host who's drawn to exploring paranormal activity by a caller and an unexplained death.
Dallas Roberts plays a small town radio personality Charlie Crowe who gets thrust into the mystery when a strange caller relates a terrifying experience during Crowe's late night call-in show. At the same time, CDC Public Health Agent, named Sophie Lancombe, and played by Alison Eastwood, is hot on the trail of the cause of the rare medical condition known as SUNDS (Sudden Unexplained Nocturnal Death Syndrome).
Her investigations entwine her with Charlie's own discoveries and take them both into a dark world and a decades old cover-up about the phenomenon we now call, The Shadow People.
The conclusion of the story – once you open the door to the mystery…you'll never sleep soundly again.
Beside Roberts and Eastwood, Shadow People also stars Anne Dudek, Mariah Bonner, Christopher Berry and Jonathan Baron.
