Kiss her Leonardo, kiss her man! We have another great image of Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan who star as Gatsby and Daisy in an upcoming Baz Luhrmann‘s movie The Great Gatsby.
As you already know, the movie opens later this year, and beside the above mentioned duo also stars Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Jason Clarke and Isla Fischer.
Well, one thing is for sure – both DiCaprio and Mulligan are looking great in this picture. Costumes are fantastic, and I guess we’re all eager to see this movie now when we know that it’s going to be in 3D.
Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel The Great Gatsby follows Nick Carraway as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz and bootleg kings. There he meets a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby, his cousin – Daisy, and her husband – Tom Buchanan.
Nick soon gets drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits, and as he bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.
The Great Gatsby opens in 3D on December 25th, 2012.
