Last week we shared some cool stuff from the upcoming Len Wiseman‘s Total Recall remake which stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel.
So, today it’s time for a new TV spot for the whole thing.
Actually, it’s hard to say this is something completely new and different. It shows us a little bit of new footage but hey, watch the video until the end to find out that “the future depends on what you do next”.
Farrell stars as Douglas Quaid, who, even though he’s got a beautiful wife, played by Beckinsale, who he loves, still wants to escape from his frustrating life. Real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs – the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation
But when the procedure goes wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen, he teams up with a rebel fighter, played by Biel, to find the head of the underground resistance and stop Cohaagen.
Kurt Wimmer and Mark Bomback are responsible for the script, which is inspired by the famous short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick.
Total Recall opens on August 3rd, 2012.
