Following up on the poster released in February, the first trailer for Nacho Vigalondo‘s real-time thriller Open Windows takes us inside computer screen and the spectator becomes the protagonist of this adventure.
Vigalondo’s first English-language movie looks pretty damned good and not just because of adult film star Sasha Grey. Elijah Wood also stars as a man who is obsessed with an actress (Grey). He finds a way to spy on her through his computer screen.
All kidding aside, this looks much more generic than we hoped, and also annoying as it presents a computer interface unlike anything real users actually have.
Neil Maskell, Iván González, Brian Elder, Trevante Rhodes, Jaime Olías and Ulysses Lopez co-stars.
A distributor and a release date have yet to be announced.

Here’s the official synopsis for Open Windows:
Jill, the most exciting actress of the moment, refuses to have dinner with Nick, a fan who won a date with her in an Internet contest organized by the distributor of her latest film. In return, a guy named Chord, posing as Jill’s campaign manager, helps Nick follow in the footsteps of the actress from his own computer. Nick starts a game in which he realizes that he is only a puppet in the manic plans devised by Chord to hunt down the star.
