Nicole Kidman & Colin Firth Reunite For BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP!

Jeanne Standal February 6, 2013 Add a Comment
Colin Firth & Nicole Kidman This sounds promising – Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth are set to star in an upcoming thriller Before I Go To Sleep, which comes from director Rowan Joffe and is based on the novel of the same name written by S.J. Watson. Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love – all forgotten overnight: imagine that! So, at this moment we know that Kidman is set to play a woman named Christine who wakes up each morning with no memory. Firth, on the other hand, will play her husband Ben who is telling her that she's suffered a trauma and needs to stay at home. What a life! But, wait, there's more! The movie will also star Mark Strong as a doctor who will encourage Christine to start a journal, jog her memory every day and eventually – discover that her husband is actually some kind of a freak! Or something like that. Anyway, let us also add that Anne-Marie Duff is also on board for the thriller which starts filming later this month. In case you want more details about the whole thing, here's a description of Watson's book:
Every day Christine wakes up not knowing where she is. Her memories disappear every time she falls asleep. Her husband, Ben, is a stranger to her, and he's obligated to explain their life together on a daily basis – all the result of a mysterious accident that made Christine an amnesiac. With the encouragement of her doctor, Christine starts a journal to help jog her memory every day. One morning, she opens it and sees that she's written three unexpected and terrifying words: Don't trust Ben. Suddenly everything her husband has told her falls under suspicion. What kind of accident caused her condition? Who can she trust? Why is Ben lying to her? Can Christine's story be trusted?
Stay tuned for more updates, this sure looks good! BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP Cover
