After the release of two films featuring lead characters who are illusionists – Oz The Great and Powerful and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone –Louis Leterrier will next release his brand new film, the magic-filled Now You See Me.
A quartet of masterful illusionists called ‘The Four Horsemen,’ use their skills to rob banks and find themselves in the crosshairs of an elite squad of FBI agents.
Jesse Eisenberg stars as Michael Atlas, the leader of a magical super-group who pull off a series of daring heists against corrupt business leaders during their performances, showering the stolen profits on their audiences while staying one step ahead of the law.
From a screenplay by Ed Solomon and Boaz Yakin & Edward Ricourt, this heist flick also stars Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Woody Harrelson and opens on May 31st, 2013.
