Watch: OBLIVION New York Public Library Set Video!

Joseph Kosinski‘s new movie Oblivion opens this month, so we better hurry up and share the latest behind-the-scenes video from the whole thing. Straight from New York Public Library comes this 2-minute preview of the upcoming sci-fi action adventure, and as usual – all eyes on Tom Cruise‘s character Jack Harper. Chek it out & enjoy! Kosinski directed the movie from a script written by Karl Gajdusek and Michael Debruyn which revolves around one man’s confrontation with the past that will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind. Beside Cruise, Oblivion also stars Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Melissa Leo, and the movie is set to hit theaters on April 19th, 2013.

Jack Harper is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack’s mission is nearly complete. Living in and patrolling the breathtaking skies from thousands of feet above, his soaring existence is brought crashing down when he rescues a beautiful stranger from a downed spacecraft. Her arrival triggers a chain of events that forces him to question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.
