Watch: Pretty Weird First Clip From ODD THOMAS, Starring Anton Yelchin
Two months ago we shared the very first images from Odd Thomas, you also had a chance to see the promo trailer for the whole thing, and now – time for the first (and pretty weird) clip with Anton Yelchin. What’s so weird about it? Well, head inside to take a look, and watch your hands. I mean arms. Whatever!
Let us once again remind you that Stephen Sommers directed the whole thing from his own script which is based on Dean Koontz‘s novel of the same name.
It revolves around Yelchin’s character, a short-order cook with clairvoyant abilities who, in a California desert town, encounters a mysterious man with a link to dark, threatening forces.
He spots a weird looking stranger in whom the bodachs appear very interested, nicknames him Fungus Man, and rightly assumes that he is involved in the impending disaster. Breaking into the man’s house, Odd finds a mysterious black room and a page from a calendar that tells him the date of the planned event. Now it’s a race against time to foil the plot…Addison Timlin, Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Nico Tortorella and Curtis Jackson also co-star, but unfortunately – still nothing about the US release date. As usual – we’ll keep an eye on this film, so make sure you stay tuned!
