The teaser trailer for the upcoming Oliver Stone-directed George W Bush biopic, entitled “W,” starring Josh Brolin, James Cromwell, Ellen Burstyn, Elizabeth Banks, Richard Dreyfuss, and Thandie Newton, is now available online.
Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. “W” takes viewers through Bush’s eventful life — his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush’s decision to invade Iraq.
“W” is due out October 17th.

You can’t say “whether you love him or hate him”… if nobody loves him.
Oliver Stone isn’t exactly known for accuracy when it comes to his movies. He tends to take, er, liberties — The Untouchables comes to mind first. So I wouldn’t count on this being remotely accurate. More like, “This is what I like to think happened.”
