Peter Hyams To Remake “Capricorn One”

Capricorn OneIrish director John Moore (“The Omen“, “Flight of the Phoenix“, “Behind Enemy Lines“) is to remake the classic 1978 space conspiracy thriller “Capricorn One“. Peter Buchman, who wrote Steven Soderbergh‘s two-part Che Guevara biopic, penned the screenplay. The original film told the story of three astronauts who become embroiled in a Mars mission hoax. Elliot Gould and James Brolin starred in the original, which was written and directed by Peter Hyams. O.J. Simpson played a supporting role. Variety says the new film is described as a reimagined and updated version of the original. Capricorn One:
