And if this is something that already sounds familiar to you, let us remind you that the last time we heard anything about the project Sam Raimi was attached. But we guess that’s no longer the case…
So, nothing is official yet, but according to Pajiba: “…The person that is now attached to the project is none other than Quentin Tarantino, who is also attached as co-writer….
Maybe he loved the original radio show and the pulps (which do seem up Tarantino’s alley), and maybe he saw Siavash Farahani’s script and decided that, if anyone could erase the memory of Alec Baldwin’s atrocity, it’d be him.”
Let us remind you that Russell Mulcahy directed a film adaptation in 1994 with Alec Baldwin as the lead, but despite impressive video effects, the project bombed.
Now, with Quentin Tarantino’s potential on board, this could be a very interesting project, you must agree.
Especially when we have a rumor that Tarantino will re-write Siavash Farahani’s screenplay!
