Rebecca Hall in IRON MAN 3 as Female Lead?
Anyone surprised? I guess not. After all, we already know that Jessica Chastain is no longer attached to star in Marvel’s upcoming Iron Man 3, so Rebecca Hall sounds like a really good choice at this moment.
Actually, Hall is still in talks to join the whole thing, but we have no doubts that she would make a perfect “sexy scientist”.
In case you’re a little surprised with this “sexy scientist” part of the story, let me inform you that The Town star is in negotiations to join the third installment of Iron Man as a scientist who helps create the nanotechnology, known as Extremis, that winds up being sold to terrorists. Her character is described as a sexy scientist who is every bit as smart as Tony Stark.
Yeah, you better watch out, Robert Downey Jr.!
As you already see, the Iron Man 3 plot will draw elements from the Warren Ellis’six-issue series, “Iron Man: Extremis”, which is a good part of the story, I guess.
Shane Black is on board to both direct and co-write Iron Man 3 together with Drew Pearce, and when it comes to the movie cast – you should not worry a thing. Robert Downey Jr. is back as billionaire Tony Stark and his superhero alter ego Iron Man, while the rest of the cast will also include Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle. Guy Pearce and Ben Kingsley as the villain.
Production on the Iron Man 3 begins this month in North Carolina before moving to China, and Disney has already set a release date – May 3rd, 2013.
And now, back to Rebecca Hall.
What do you think about her possible involvement in the whole thing?
