Some rentals are too good to be true. Hell yeah, we have something grrrrreat to share with you, and that is a completely new TV spot and trailer for Michele Taverna‘s horror movie Apartment 1303 3D. Now you expect me to say – the movie will open on… But, unfortunately, there’s still nothing about the release date! Can you believe it? Anyway, don’t let that bother you, check out the rest of this report to see two great videos!
In case you’re not so familiar with this project, I’m here to inform you that the movie comes from director Michele Taverna, and it’s actually an adaptation of Kei Ôishi‘s novel. While we’re still at the beginning of the report, I will just add that the Swedish director Daniel Fridell had originally been set to direct the project but was later replaced by Taverna.

Here’s the official synopsis:
The family life of Janet Burns, 23, sister Lara, early 30’s and their mother Maddie, a late 50’s singer, comes to an end when, after one more furiois fight, Janet moves out and rents an apartment downtow. Apartment 1303 is on the 13th floor of a high-rise building in a depressed part of Detroit.
Soon after moving in, her 9-year old neighbor Emily, tells her of a previous tenant who committed suicide by jumping from her balcony, a girl named Jennifer. While Janet unpacks, strange and unexplainable events begin to occur. The day after, Joyce, a collegue notices Janet is bruised and believes her boyfriend Mark is responsible. Janet denies it and blames sleepwalking.
That evening Janet witnesses a robbery in the convenience store of her new building. Moments later Mark arrives to comfort her. During the night Hanet is once again awakened by supernatural occurences and realized Mark has left. A powerful force takes hold of Janet and drags her body across the living room. The balcony doors fly open and Janet is thrown out onto the railings. She holds on for a moment, screams and finally falls to the ground – 13 floors below. When days later Lara arrives at Apartment 1303 to remove Janet’s belongings she begins to experience the same supernatural events.

Apartment 1303 3D stars Mischa Barton as Lara Slate, Rebecca De Mornay as Maddie, Julianne Michelle as Janet, Corey Sevier as Mark Taylor, John Diehl as detective, Robert Blanche as O’Neil, and the rest of the cast also includes Madison McAleer, Kathleen Mackey and Katherine Cleland.
The movie will be released theatrically in Russia on December 6th, 2012 and as soon as we find out something new about this great horror movie – we’ll let you know, so make sure you stay tuned!
