Ryan O'Neal has reportedly joined the ever-growing cast of
Terrence Malick‘s next, the currently being filmed
Knight of Cups.
O'Neal tweeted along with a photo of his trailer (below):
Had a great day shooting on Terrence Malick's new film with the wonderful Natalie Portman @NPortmanFans & Christian Bale@Christian_bale_
Yet no word of the Knight of Cups plot details or on O'Neal's role, but a series of
tweets from a couple of young actresses who were an extra in the film say that
Antonio Banderas and
Joe Manganiello are also shooting scenes for the movie:

So while it hasn't been proven yet, anything is possible.
Not a lot to say, but Knight of Cups‘cast is currently comprised of
Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Freida Pinto, Wes Bentley, Isabel Lucas, Felicity Jones, and
Teresa Palmer.
