Ryan Reynolds Not Yet Confirmed for HIGHLANDER Remake
It’s not our fault – Ryan Reynolds is apparently still just rumored to take on the leading role in the upcoming Higlander reboot.
I don’t know what’s actually going on up there, but the only official thing we know at the moment is that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is definitely on board to direct the remake, and that Twilight scribe Melissa Rosenberg is behind the script. That should be enough for the beginning…
So, there can be only one, but will Reynolds be that guy? According to some sources, there have been some talks, but he has not signed on to the film (yet).
I actually don’t care if Reynolds is the new Highlander or not, I’m quite satisfied with the original 1986 movie with Christopher Lambert as an immortal swordsman who battled other immortal warriors through the centuries.
But hey, if you’re Reynolds fans, you can still check him out in R.I.P.D. which by the way opens today.
