We already shared the first
trailer for
John Lee Hancock‘s upcoming biopic, so I'm sure you remember that the movie revolves around P.L. Travers (Thompson) who travels from London to Hollywood as Walt Disney (Hanks) adapts her novel Mary Poppins for the big screen.
Of course, the film will center on the life of Travers, shifting between 1907 with her childhood in Australia, the negotiations with Disney and the making of one of the most endearing films in cinematic history.
Definitely sounds like a promising story, and in case you forgot, (beside the above mentioned duo), the rest of the cast looks great and includes:
