No doubt the images from Oz: The Great and Powerful are doing a lot of work to raise expectations. These new batch of photos look like stills from the last trailer, but at least you can use them as wallpaper to grace your desktop.
The world of Oz looks bright thanks to two-time Oscar winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland) who is next directing Maleficent.
Since Oz: The Great and Powerful doesn’t hit theaters until March 8th, 2013, there’s plenty of time for the bad queen, played by Rachel Weisz to make their presence in the world full of visual hallucinations.
In the detailed view you’ll see shoddy magician Diggs (James Franco) floating over Oz, a look at China Towne, see Diggs and Theodora (Mila Kunis) travel the Yellow Brick Road, a valley in the Land of Oz, Michelle Williams as the Good Witch, Glinda and the pond where Diggs first encounters the witch Theodora.
