Omg, is this cute or what? We have something completely new to share with you today – six retro monster posters for Tim Burton‘s upcoming Frankenweenie, which opens this Friday! A tale of terror? Prepare to stroke pure evil? Evil comes out from its shell? Science goes astray? Hm, no thanks, I prefer the electrifying dog who’s back from beyond the grave!
So, are you guys ready for Burton’s heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog? Sure you are! And I’m sure you already know that this stop-motion film centers on young Victor who, after unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life.
He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous.
Filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, Frankenweenie cast includes Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell.
