Greek beauty, Tonia Sotiropoulou (Τόvια Σωτηροπούλου), model and actress, joins the cast of Sam Mendes‘ Skyfall.
According to MI6 Sotiropoulou announced the news on her Facebook page saying:
“Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film!!! Turkey here I come! Thank u all for you love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life bitches!!!!”
MI6 also reveals that she auditioned for the role of Severine and lost out to Berenice Marlohe but she's in the blockbuster now, bitches!
Many sources reported that Sotiropoulou will appear in the beginning of the film and will shoot for five days in Istanbul on the project.
So, Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
Skyfall which also stars Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory and Ola Rapace opens on November 9th, 2012.
