An explosive action thriller? We can deal with that description! So, it’s finally here – the official synopsis for J.J.Abrams‘ upcoming sci-fi movie Star Trek Into Darkness. As you already know, we’re talking about the twelfth film in the well-known Star Trek franchise and the sequel to Abrams’ 2009 Star Trek. First of all, I will remind you that Abrams directs the whole thing from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Damon Lindelof and Roberto Orci, and that some familiar faces from the previous film are on board to star in the sequel as well.
In other words – get ready for Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg and John Cho, ’cause they are all set to star in Star Trek Into Darkness which opens on May 15th, 2013.
The rest of the cast will also include Benedict Cumberbatch, Noel Clarke, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Joseph Gatt, Nazneen Contractor, Anjini Taneja Azhar and Nolan North.
