The Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon
would join Michelle Monaghan
(Mission: Impossible 3) in thriller Still of the Night
with Jonathan Mostow
(Terminator 3) on board to direct from his own script.
Monaghan stars as a career woman with everything falling into place until her sister, who has a tainted past, disappears. She soon finds herself tangled in the midst of a dangerous conspiracy and must outwit a devious criminal (Sarandon) to save herself and her sister.
Matt Jackson, Exclusive Media’s EVP said:
“Michelle and Susan are two of the industry’s most versatile actresses and they are perfect for Still of Night. Audiences love them and coupled with Jonathan’s edge of your seat script give us a great combination for today’s ever sophisticated marketplace.
It should be interesting indeed to see Sarandon as a straight-up villain in a paranoia thriller Still of the Night which builds to a pulse-pounding crescendo.
The project is scheduled to start shooting in August 2012.
Mostow recently directed sci-fi thriller Surrogates; Monaghan starred in Source Code and will be next seen in Penthouse North, Tomorrow You’re Gone and Better Living Through Chemistry; Sarandon will be seen next in Snitch, Cloud Atlas and Robert Redford’s The Company You Keep.
