Tarsem’s THE FALL
Blockbusters like ‘Iron Man', ‘Speed Racer', ‘Narnia' and ‘Indiana Jones' quickly come to mind when you think of next month's kickoff of summer movie season.
There is one film, however, that you may not even be aware of. A film that you simply have to add to your list of next month's must-see events: “The Fall”
From director Tarsem Singh and “presented” by David Fincher and Spike Jonze, is a throwback to classic, vintage Terry Gilliam with hints of Guillermo del Toro thrown in against a visual style that is all Tarsem.
Set in Los Angeles “Once Upon A Time,” a little girl with a broken collar bone meets a bedridden man who starts telling her a whimsical story which reflects his state of mind. As time goes by fiction and reality start to intertwine in an epic fantasy adventure mixed with a heavy dose of drama.
