An unannounced
Godzilla teaser trailer – a brief clip that takes the world and the creature seriously, and appearance from director
Gareth Edward were seen in Hall H at Comic-Con.
Godzilla remake is directed by Edwards and
Max Borenstein (Monsters) was hired to polish up a script from
David Goyer.
Those who saw a sneak peek at WB/Legendary Pictures' upcoming film, Godzilla, said that were filled with a good deal of hope — the design is somewhere between the first U.S. adaptation of Godzilla and the classic design.
Edwards said there is nothing sci-fi about this movie and he's taking a more realistic approach to the material. In other words, the film will be really character-centric.
As far as we know, the clip itself hasn't made its way online, but Legendary Pictures has released a stylish teaser poster, without really giving much away.
Check it out anyway.
