Yesterday we shared the very first TV spot for Lee Daniels’ The Butler, hope you enjoyed? Good, ’cause it’s time for a brand new clip which will give you a much better look at Jane Fonda, aka Nancy Reagan (yep, you’ll also have a chance to hear what Fonda thinks about her role!) In addition to this short video, we also have two new (read: old new, but official) posters for the whole thing, head inside to take a look & let us know what you think!
Just a quick reminder! Beside Fonda, the movie also stars Robin Williams as Dwight Eisenhower, John Cusack as Richard Nixon, Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan, James Marsden as John F. Kennedy and Liev Schreiber as Lyndon B. Johnson.
But, of course, it’s actually all about Forest Whitaker, who plays a White House butler who served eight American presidents over three decades.
In case you forgot the film traces the dramatic changes that swept American society during this time, from the civil rights movement to Vietnam and beyond, and how those changes affected this man’s life and family.
Also starring Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, Minka Kelly, Lenny Kravitz, Melissa Leo, David Oyelowo, Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Redgrave, Lee Daniels’ The Butler opens on August 16th, 2013.
