THE CANYONS – 30s Comedy Teaser Trailer

Nick Martin December 30, 2012 Add a Comment
Canyons-Trailer-30s We got a 1970s-style teaser, and then a 1950s-style trailer, and it's only logical turn now for the final one in the form of a 1930s-style preview. The gritty story of a sensuous woman (Lindsay Lohan) torn between two men, one of whom is played by porn star James Deen is reportedly completed and the next step is to screen for multi-platform distribs. The other love is played by Nolan Funk in the upcoming contemporary L.A. noir movie. If you like pulpy, old-looking black & white B-movies, or tabloid queen Lindsay Lohan, you will like this film. The trailer gives us a much better look at the ensemble, but this seems like a minor detail to reveal anything. Directed by Paul Schrader and written by Bret Easton Ellis, The Canyons is about the ‘dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally, among a group of young people in their 20′s and how one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence.' The film will be released sometime next year. Check out the teaser below. Source: The Film Stage
