The Hunger Games star was only 15 years old, this sexy, stylish, and suspenseful thriller revolves around an ex-movie star who attempts to make a career comeback when she's threatened by an anonymous blackmailer. Doesn't look bad at all, head inside to check it out!
James Oakley directed the whole thing from a script written by
Alex Michaelides, and beside Lawrence, the rest of
The Devil You Know cast also includes
Rosamund Pike,
Lena Olin,
Dean Winters and
Molly Price.
Here's the official synopsis for the movie:
Kathryn Vale is a reclusive ex-movie star with a dark secret and a daughter hoping to follow in her mother's movie-star footsteps. When Kathryn attempts to make a career comeback, she is threatened by an anonymous blackmailer. The resulting events force Kathryn to confront the truth about herself and those around her.
As for the above mentioned cast, Olin stars as Kathryn Vale, Pike is her jealous daughter named Zoe, Lawrence plays the role of teenage Zoe in the film's flashbacks, Winters stars as Olin's unfaithful husband and Price is her duplicitous assistant.
The Devil You Know will be released on July 9th, 2013 on Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, Playstation, and XBox.
