The First Trailer for LES MISERABLES has Appeared
Universal has released the first trailer for Tom Hooper‘s musical adaptation of Les Miserables in a form of bootleg footage, which looks fantastic.
The trailer for Les Mis features Hugh Jackman as prisoner Jean Valjean and Anne Hathaway as Fantine in the big screen version with gorgeous cinematography by Danny Cohen (The King's Speech).
Hathaway as Fantine singing one of the pieces most famous songs ‘I Dreamed a Dream' that could actually make you mist up; we also get glimpses of Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Samantha Barks as Éponine and Eddie Redmayne as Marius. Still no sightings of Sacha Baron Cohen or Helena Bonham Carter's characters.
