The first and really beautiful poster for Disney‘s animated comedy “The Princess and the Frog” has been unveiled.
The movie marks the return to hand-drawn animation – the first from Disney in over four years – from directors John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar-winning composer Randy Newman (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “Toy Story“). Clements and Musker previously worked together on Disney classics “Aladdin,” “Hercules,” and “Treasure Planet” and now they also wrote the script for the movie.
“The Princess and the Frog” is set in the great city of New Orleans. That’s the story about a beautiful girl – the first black princess in the history of Disney – named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
The movie which also stars Bruno Campos, John Goodman, Peter Bartlett, Keith David, Jim Cummings, Jenifer Lewis, Jennifer Cody, Michael-Leon Wooley, Terrence Howard and Oprah Winfrey is set for release on November 25, 2009 (wide: December 11, 2009).
