Universal Pictures has debuted the third poster for the upcoming crime thriller titled Contraband.
Based on the film Reykjavik: Rotterdam, Contraband stars Mark Wahlberg, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster, Giovanni Ribisi, J.K. Simmons and Diego Luna.
In the film, Wahlberg plays Chris Farraday, a family man who has long-abandoned his life of crime. But when his brother-in-law Andy botches up a drug deal, Chris is forced back into doing what he does best—running contraband—to settle Andy’s debt. However, he has a few drug lords do deal with first — especially when they’re threatening his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and kids.
Contraband is directed by Baltasar Kormakur and is set to hit theaters on January 13th, 2012.
