Live action Pinocchio? No surprise. We already talked about that last year!
But now the word comes that guys from Warner Bros. are in talks with Tim Burton to direct the whole thing.
And even better – apparently Robert Downey Jr. would come on board to play Geppetto. I mean, that's good, right?
Are we all familiar with Pinocchio story? I guess we are, but just for a record, it follows a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, who created a wooden puppet and dreamed of becoming a real boy.
The original tale comes from Italian author Carlo Collodi‘s 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.
At the end, I will just remind you that (like with Snow White), there's also another Pinocchio project currently in production which is being developed through the Jim Henson Company. That one is a stop-motion feature with a script from Guillermo del Toro and Gris Grimley.
But let me ask you one thing – anyone out there really interested in Pinocchio project(s)?
I mean – really?
