Felony opposite the previously cast male lead
Joel Edgerton.
Edgerton wrote a script and is also producing via his Blue-Tongue Films banner, while
Matthew Saville (Noise) is directing.
Driving home after a celebration drink with his team after cracking the infamous gang bangers, a decorated cop (Edgerton) runs a young cyclist off the road, gives CPR to the child and then is caught up in an increasingly convoluted web of deceit after he lies about what happened in the accident.
Wilkinson will play a crime scene investigator Carl Summer, who arrives at the accident site and make an assessment. Exec producer Lisa Wilson said:

Wilkinson who will soon be seen in The Lone Ranger was just got set for Amma Asante's period drama about the trials and troubles of a mixed-race girl titled Belle.
The Felony film is set to start shooting in late October and is expected for release in 2013. Project is currently being shopped at Toronto.
