Summit Entertainment have released two new images from their upcoming CG animated film “
Astro Boy.”
Astro Boy is set in futuristic Metro City and follows a young robot built with incredible powers by a brilliant scientist trying to replace the son that he has lost. The young robot (Astro Boy) is unable to fulfill the grieving man's expectations and so embarks on a journey to learn about himeslf, the world, and ultimately must battle to save Metro City.
Animated film is directed by
David Bowers, written by
Timothy Harris, starring
Freddie Highmore, Nicolas Cage, Kristen Bell, Nathan Lane, Bill Nighy, Eugene Levy, Matt Lucas &
Donald Sutherland.
