
Here's the first trailer and images for
Zero Dark Thirty,
Kathryn Bigelow‘s first film since The Hurt Locker.
Teaser and stills giving us a first look at the film that will dramatize the biggest moments in recent U.S. and world history, the hunt for Osama bin Laden.
However, not many questions will be answered; they hint at a more intimate breakdown of the events leading up to bin Laden's death rather than making it a more distant political thriller.
As you may remember, Zero dark Thirty ‘focuses on the black ops mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, which culminated in his death earlier this month during a high-stakes raid on his compound in Pakistan; director Bigelow and writer
Mark Boal have been developing the project since 2008 and plan to incorporate recent events into the film.
Opening on December 19th, 2012 the film stars
Jason Clarke, Chris Pratt, Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Edgar Ramirez, Kyle Chandler, Nash Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle, Harold Perrineau Jr., Fares Fares and
Mark Duplass.
