The Wolverine started production in Kurnell, Australia this week, which has been transformed into a Japanese WWII prisoner of war camp. Batch of shots show us Hugh Jackman‘s very distinct looks.
Production has now moved to Picton, which is New South Wales. The town has been covered in snow and transformed into a town in the Yukon and we've got a few more photos of the actor in character in which he looks like a disheveled poor man who has been living on the streets.
In Frank Miller's comic books, Wolverine is reportedly ‘in the Canadian Rockies where he pursues a man-eating grizzly bear. He eventually finds the bear and realizes that it's been shot with a poisonous arrow, which caused its erratic behavior. Wolverine traces the arrow's scent back to a hunter at a local pub, called ‘Josie's Bar ‘N' Grill,' where he confronts him and proceeds to make him pay.
The new action adventure is directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma) and is coming to theaters on July 26th, 2013.
The flick co-stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
